Joan takes us on a long-distance tour to hear Camilla George from Nigeria, Ray Lema from the Dominican Republic of Congo, Neil Gonsalves from South Africa and many others. These artists carry the sounds of their upbringing to a place all their own. It’s jazz, and then some.
