MJI PRESENTS: THE MUSIC OF BUDDY MONTGOMERY

Join us in honoring the legacy of Buddy Montgomery (1929-2009), the influential pianist, vibraphonist, and composer who was also the younger brother of Wes Montgomery. During the 1970s, Buddy made Milwaukee his home, leaving a lasting and profound impact on the jazz scene. Don’t miss this performance of some of his remarkable compositions by an all-star quartet that includes two of his original bandmates.
