Monk’s Music Group has been playing the music of Thelonious Monk in various formats since March of 2023. Each group member is a practicing Jazz musician in the Milwaukee area and many are music educators. Thelonious Monk is one of the most unique composers and musical innovators of the 20th century, the group looks forward to interpreting his music at bar centro.
