Jason Kutz’s 23 Concerts’: Featuring José Guzmán, Brian Courage, and Mike Koszewski

In 2023, Kutz will perform a series of 23 Concerts, each featuring a musical premiere. This concert, in the second half of the 23 collection, will showcase pieces written for the project with Chicago’s Brian Courage and José Guzmán on bass and guitar, and Madison drummer Mike Koszewski.

Jason Kutz is one of the region’s most versatile pianists. He has performed as both soloist and orchestra member with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra; released two internationally-acclaimed albums from Madison’s inimitable Mr. Chair (2021 WAMI Best Jazz Artist); and been commissioned by the Academy of Arts, Letters, & Sciences and the UW-Madison Department of Geoscience, among others.
