ABC’s of Jazz with Joan Dadian — The Letter “N”

Join Jazzy Joan for this month’s ABCs of Jazz show, featuring recordings from four artists whose first names begin with the letter “N.” Jazzy Joan (a.k.a. Joan Dadian) will pay tribute to the venerable Nat King Cole as her featured vocalist, and cornetist Nat Adderley, godfather of soul jazz and master of hard bop and bebop. She will continue her exploration for current-day jazz music, with recordings from vocalist and innovator Nnenna Freelon, and Nils Landgren on trombone and vocals.
