DESCRIPTION:The musical partnership of tenor saxophonist Dennis Mitcheltree and pianist Johannes Wallmann began in New York City in 1997\, 26 years later Wallman and Mitcheltree’s collaborations include six quartet tours of the U.S.\, two duo and quartet tours of Germany\, and four albums.  Drawing on the near-telepathic chemistry Wallman and Mitcheltree have honed over the span of 26 years\, this performance precedes the recording of their first duo album\, to be  recorded at Madison’s Hamel Music Center. \n  \n
