Kehsin Xu is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter, producer, and bandleader known for her storytelling and rhythmic singing, as well as her engaging stage presence. Versatile across jazz, bossa nova, pop, and funk, she brings authenticity and emotional depth to every performance.
As the founder of her own bossa nova band, Kehsin has earned recognition for successful tribute concerts celebrating the music of Antônio Carlos Jobim. She is also the organizer of the AAPI showcase ImpervisAsian: Between Heritage and the Next Chorus, creating a platform that highlights Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and stories. Today, she continues to create and perform music that connects with audiences through her artistry and soul.
